Christopher (aka Jake) was another one of our first commenters, and he’s shown Per.spec.tive lots of support.  He’s also given us a great poem, with lots of interesting symbolism.

Deeeeeep! You can see the mystery to how the fire started. “Flames” is a metaphor here as well as the actual noun; it is used in many ways. It is a little lengthy, but worth the time to read it!

    Also, I know you “MacBeth”!

Wow…it sounds so sad…actually it sounds like it could easily be like, an old Green Day song…not that you have ever heard any of them…*blushes*

Thanks, everybody! :) @Kelly-I do like the old Green Day and own their old CD’s (including Kerplunk!), so I did take it as a compliment.

    And P.S.-thanks, Ian!

But…do you still like them NOW…or do you think they’re sellouts like everyone else?…I still like them.

Oh, and P.S.-just because they’re making a different sound that’s unique and entertaining doesn’t make them sell-outs in my point-of-view. :)

I agree with the last comment. “Sell out” is one of those words that gets thrown out a lot, might sound edgy but when you call a band like Green Day a sell out what do you really mean?
Most of what I hear from them is pretty biting commentary, does that go away because just they are successful?
Anyway, about the poem… Hits me pretty hard and of course you want to know all about how the fire started and who the speaker is. Nice job!
